GCOM 2026 - News

|
The 6th Global Conference on Myositis (GCOM) will take place in Lisbon from 23-26 March 2026. The countdown to meet again as an international myositis community has begun! Travel grant opportunities for myositis researchers at FOCIS
|
FOCIS is back in Europe. The European advanced course and conference on immunology and immunopathology, will be held from 20-24 October 2025 at the Faculty of Health in Rouen Normandy (easily and rapidly accessible from Paris). A program filled by international clinical immunology leaders will give a clinical twist on key cellular and molecular immunology topics.

- There are special travel grant opportunities for trainees who submit an abstract relating to myositis.
- Early bird registration deadline is 20 June 2025 and abstract submission deadline is 18 July 2025.

The World Myosits Day - WMD was foundet in 2023 and was celebrated last year for the first time. On the WMD, special attention should be paid to the disease of myositis.Join the WMD 2025!

General Assembly - 2025
|
|
The last iMyoS general assembly took place on 16 April 2025. Prof. Jens Schmidt, Chair of the iMyoS board, provided a welcome introduction, reported on the society's activities and disclosed about the financial statements. Recent developments for GCOM 2026 were shared, including status updates from various subcommittees and partner organizations on their respective tasks.
