The laboratory of Dr. Andrew Mammen at the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS), National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to join an active and collaborative research program.
Research Focus
Dr. Mammen’s laboratory investigates the mechanisms, diagnosis, and treatment of autoimmune muscle diseases (myositis) and other rheumatic diseases, with an emphasis on translational research that bridges basic immunology, muscle biology, and clinical investigation. Ongoing projects include studies of disease pathogenesis, autoantibodies, biomarkers, and therapeutic targets, using human samples and state-of-the-art molecular, immunologic, and genomic approaches.
